The Walking Dead Will Get a Spin-Off Show. What Should It Be About?

This isn't the spin-off. BUT IT COULD BE?
This isn't the spin-off. BUT IT COULD BE?

AMC announced today that it has begun developing a Walking Dead spin-off drama to debut in 2015. The announcement characterizes it as a “companion series” that will be able to tell stories in the same world without being tied to the continuity of the ongoing comic series.

Series creator Robert Kirkman will serve as executive producer on the show and, if AMC’s announcement is any indication, is rarin’ to go. “After 10 years of writing the comic book series and being so close to the debut of our fourth, and in my opinion, best season of the TV series, I couldn’t be more thrilled about getting the chance to create a new corner of The Walking Dead universe. The opportunity to make a show that isn’t tethered by the events of the comic book, and is truly a blank page, has set my creativity racing.”

While we wait for Kirkman to debut Tales of The Walking Dead (or whatever it may be called) we’re curious what Tor.com readers want from this unexpected opportunity. Essentially, if you had a chance to expand on the world of The Walking Dead, what would you do?
