Should Ron Perlman break out his horn-file? Apparently he and Guillermo del Toro are talking about Hellboy 3 again, because del Toro’s work with Legendary Entertainment on Pacific Rim has rekindled his old moviemaking joy. However, IGN is throwing some cold water on the, um, flames, saying that rights issues may make a trilogy impossible. But then Ron Perlman had to say this:

“Everything that was done in both movies was leading up to this destiny, written in stone, of what Hellboy has been summoned to Earth to do. To not do it, particularly in light of the scope that Guillermo is thinking of for the resolve, would be in my mind a little bit of a shame.”

Come on, Hollywood! If you’re going to throw Grown Ups 2 at us surely you can allow a kitten-loving demon to fulfill his destiny?
