Ever wanted to know what Genevieve Valentine’s favorite scary story is? Or Maybe John Wray’s? Well, now you can find out! Along with Keith R. A. DeCandido, and Emmet Asher-Perrin, they’ll be reading their favorite spooky stories out loud in Brooklyn, NYC this Friday night at the excellent new sci-fi bookshop Singularity & Co. at 7:00pm!

This is the second first installment of a new reading series I, Reader: Classic SF&F Readings from Our Favorite Humans, a show that features authors, performers, and personalities reading their favorite science fiction, fantasy, and genre stories from the past. In keeping with Singularity & Co.’s “Save the Sci-Fi” campaign, readers will perform their favorite old school stories!

I, Reader will host some big names in literature, performance, radio, and more. This month the line-up includes the following stellar humans!

The series is curated and hosted by Tor.com staff writer Ryan Britt. There will complimentary wine, PLUS the first 15 people to arrive in costume will receive a gift certificate to Singularity & Co. for $6.66! Free books! Free wine!
