Ray Bradbury Was Great

Today would have marked the 92nd birthday of the late author Ray Bradbury. The universe of science fiction and fantasy certainly is unimaginable without Ray’s unique prose style and relentless imagination. From witches to dinosaurs to Martians to ghosts, Bradbury has given us countless characters and stories that are not only unique, but also full of real soul. Despite his obvious concern for future human behavior in stories like “The Smile” or Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury was optimistic and upbeat. He leapt out of bed every morning and attacked his typewriter. He believed writing improved your life. He wanted people to be happy. In his own words:

“If you enjoy living, it is not difficult to keep the sense of wonder.”

So, in honor of his birthday, tell us what you loved most about Bradbury, be it a story, a quote, an image, or a feeling.

Happy Birthday, Ray! We miss you.
