Back in January, we reported on a really fantastic site called The Lord of the Rings Project, which has put together the ultimate Lord of the Rings family tree. Now, this extensively researched endeavor is complete and has launched an android app, which is available now.

From the Android app store:

LotrProject is a project trying to gather every character from Tolkien’s books about Middle-Earth into one single giant family tree including Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves, Men and many more characters from the Lord of the Rings. It currently features over 800 characters.

The project was created by Emil Johansson with assistance from the Tolkien Society and Tolkien Gateway. Check it out here.

Stubby the Rocket is the voice and mascot of Tor.com. Upon not finding the name “Stubby the Rocket” listed anywhere in the LOTR Project, Stubby is for the first time considering the hard truth that Stubby may have been adopted.
