Both characters come from nothing and grow to a point where they have everything. Their great struggles are behind them and they don’t know what to do. Don self-medicates to excess. Darth kills indiscriminately and uses the resources of an entire Empire to chase a young farmboy around the galaxy.

See, now we kind of want a Peggy/Leia team-up. Or Roger and Cooper taking the Emperor out to a fancy dinner. Or a whine-off between Pete and Luke.
