100 years from now, the most influential science fiction/fantasy universes will be remembered as all having a common element: Harrison Ford. He’s got Star Wars, Blade Runner, Indiana Jones, Cowboys & Aliens, and kind of E.T. And now, he’s set to be an integral part of one of the most popular SF universes of the past 20 years. Variety is reporting Ford is locked in to play Hyrum Graff in Ender‘s Game. Graff is Ender’s hard-edged military mentor, though the character isn’t completely soulless. Throughout the books Graff struggles with a variety of ethical dilemmas, many of which Ender is central to.

Can Harrison Ford do a dysfunctional militaristic sort of father figure? We think yes!  Apparently Viggo Mortensen was also being considered, but what do you think? Is Ford right for this part?
