Free Food, Drink & Fantasy Thursday in NYC: The Center for Fiction’s Earthsea Read-Through

This Thursday in NYC, the Center for Fiction’s Big Read continues its celebration of Ursula K. Le Guin and the genre of science fiction and fantasy with a read-through of the classic book A Wizard of Earthsea.

The invitation is for anyone who wants to come, whether you’d like to join in the read-through, or just listen and enjoy. Complimentary wine and food will be provided, as well. (To keep whistles wet, we imagine.)

Also reading along with you will be John Cameron Mitchell and Dion Graham, as well as SFF authors Delia Sherman, Ellen Kushner, Alaya Dawn Johnson, Sarah Beth Durst! If you’re a fan, this is a great opportunity to hang out with them in a casual but stimulating setting.

The Center for Fiction is located at 17 East 47th Street (between 5th and Madison.) It starts at 5:30 pm, but show up a little early if you plan to sign-up to read.

More details at the Center for Fiction.
