It seems many sat through the MTV’s Video Music Awards awards for the sole purpose of catching a glimpse of footage from The Hunger Games — certainly a sign a the power and acceptance of science fiction, and YA lit, in mainstream culture. (As Scott Westerfeld tweeted, “We Won” when commenting that a generation ago, movie adaptataions of YA novels did not close out the VMAs.) And, here it is, short but looking sweet.
Irene Gallo is looking forward to the movie and can’t help thinking, “Hey, Tim O’Brien” everytime she sees the logo.
