It’s autumn in New York: the leaves are falling, the days are shorter, the Towers of Midnight are almost within reach, and we’re all anticipating a brutal case of Halloween candy-withdrawal in the very near future…so what better time for a friendly neighborhood meetup?

On Tuesday, November 9th, we’ll be packing up a bunch of free books and assorted swag and heading over to Madame X, located at 94 West Houston Street (between Thompson and LaGuardia Place). Madame X offers a lovely, laid-back space, perfect for hanging out and discussing everything from rocketry to wizardry to the Wheel of Time to the twists and turns of your current NaNoWriMo project. We’ll be arriving as soon as the bar opens at six and serving up pizza early on in the evening (as well as taking advantage of some of the excellent happy hour specials), so save the date and come join us for some brisk autumnal geekery!

Also, if you follow Tor.com on Facebook, you can check out the event page and RSVP here. Hope to see you all on the 9th!
