New York Comic Con kicks off today, and Tor.com will be there to cover all three days of panels, signings, and screenings. If you’ll be at the Javits Center, be sure to stop by the Tor Books booth and pick up some of our shiny new temporary tattoos, featuring three different versions of Stubby the Rocket. Located at Booth #2328, Tor will also be hosting giveaways all weekend (including titles from Cherie Priest, George R.R. Martin, Orson Scott Card, Terry Goodkind, Richard Matheson, and Robert Jordan, to name just a few), as well as signings by Tor authors like Brandon Sanderson, who’ll be appearing in conjunction with The Gathering Storm giveaway at 3 PM on Saturday. See the complete Tor Books events schedule here.

We’ve also compiled a shortlist of some of the many, many events we’re hoping to check out over the next few days—everything from Sherlock Holmes to Batman to Indiana Jones to Bruce Campbell, with a slew of our favorite authors thrown in for good measure.
