December Belongs To Cthulhu

12 Days of Cthulhumas: Day 2

On the second day of Cthulhumas Tor.com gave to me…
Yule horror spawned,
And Old Ones wrought in effigy.

Yule horror #1: 10 “Yule Horror” holiday cards
Made by sighcographics: “This set of 10 5×7 holiday greeting cards includes envelopes and features original artwork created just for this set, as well as a holiday-themed poem by H.P. Lovecraft himself. This poem was first published in Weird Tales magazine in December of 1926 […] The front of the card depicts cultists gathering for an unholy Yuletide rite beyond the frightening visage of Cthulhu himself, as well as the first stanza of the poem […] The remaining two stanzas of the poem are printed inside the card, along with more original artwork.”

Yule horror #2: Crocheted Tentacle stocking/ sock/ armwarmer
Made by creeplings: “Handcrafted from the finest 100% acrylic yarn, this Tentacle is perfect for filling with a multitude of little gifts and candy. But Tentacle Stockings aren’t just for gift giving. They make great arm warmers.* Wear them as ‘freak mittens’ to scare the neighbors.* Dress up your ferret for Halloween.* Or fill them with shrimp for a refreshing summertime treat.* (*not recommended)

This one is Lovecraft Lavender with a Plum Island Purple back. 21 inches long, 4 inches wide and has 23 suckercups. Sturdy and machine washable. Attached loop for easy hanging.”
