Ultimate Library Pr0n

Wired has a write-up on Jay Walker’s geek library. Walker is the founder of Walker Digital, a think tank best known for spawning Priceline.com, and he’s been collecting books and objects for years. In 2002 he decided to commission a space to house his collection. Unfortunately, it’s not open to the public (save some private tours to elementary schools and individuals).

Steven Levy, however, finagled his way in, and discovered, among other treasures: A Kelmscott edition of Chaucer (zomg), a Sputnik, the chandelier from the James Bond film Die Another Day, and a Nazi Enigma machine.

Check out the article, which includes some amazing photographs of the space, and a description of the circumstances and the specifics of its construction.
