One Page Wonders: Revenge of the Moonmen

Idiots’Books and Tor.com are happy to bring you One Page Wonders, an exciting new way of hiding a dozen different stories—all of which can be unlocked with a pair of scissors and a few deft folds—in a single sheet of paper. This week’s installment is called “Revenge of the Moonmen.” To figure out how to create these tiny books, please follow the instructions below.

1. Download the instruction sheet, which will look something like this.

Print it out if you think it will be helpful.

2. Download and print out the story PDF, which will look a little bit like this.

Make sure you tell the printer to print at actual size rather than shrinking or centering the image. A color printer would certainly be preferable if you have access to one, but black and white will do if you don’t.

3. You can assemble and read the story based just on these two items, but if you’d like a bit of a helping hand, the following video will do splendidly.

4. Read it a million times and enjoy it every one.

More One Page Wonders can be found at the collection page.

Love it, again. I will tweet it in a minute.

You inspired me with this idea - i have come up with the words for a couple more of this ilk - rhyming ones! I'm a wordsmith, not a picturesmith, so my sketchy drawings are only 'notes'. Shall i send you a scan and/or the rhymes?

Thanx for being a muse, as well as amusing. ;0)

mmSeason: I'm sure Mathew and Robbi would love to take a look at a creation they inspired. Would you be comfortable posting a link here, or do you want me to send it to them?

Thanx for your interest, Liz. 80)

I'd rather use email, cos i haven't got anything 'finished' enough to put up online. Should i email you? - or i have Matthew's e address from when he commented on my blogpost about Idiots'Books?

mmSeason: Apologies for taking so long to respond. Robbi and I been driving from Kansas to Maryland and out of email range. We'd love to see what you've come up with. (We are flattered, of course, that you consider our idea worth building on.) Looking forward to having a look. Feel free to email to me directly.

Would it be possible for you to produce versions that work on A4 paper as well? I'm currently living abroad, and the panels don't line up right on anything other than letter paper.
