Quite amusing and enjoyable. Also really hammered home my own shakespearian inadequancy in that I only recognized a handful of the plays. Thank you as always, Irene.
A big thanks to Victoria Maderna (known as Entroid on the boards) for suggesting "next."
Vist her here. She's got a great selection of art and cool plush toys on her site.

Glad you liked it, Rfife. Yeah...I'll need to sit down with our Thumbelinablues (aka Megan) and have her do the flash card thing with me. I was much better at last week's modern art version.
I loved Sonnet 138 when I first saw it some years ago, and it hasn't lost any of it's power or beauty. McKean was surely touched by a host of angels at birth. Damn him... :D
Purves is very much inspired by all forms of stage art.
His Rigoletto is amazing, and Screen Play -- inspired by no and buraku -- is a masterpiece of puppet animation: not only is most of it a single shot, the character telling the story also speak in sign language (which I've been told is understandable)
