About Me
Traveler, knack-of-many-trades, restless spirit, heretic, black sheep. I'm here because I'm a reader. I love science fiction and fantasy more than other types of fiction but in general I read as often as I can. I'm a fan of the Wheel of Time series, though it is no longer amongst my favorites. I have a very strong appreciation for classic science fiction short stories. The more I read the more critical I become, though I can enjoy good stories for what they are.

And thank you for your thoughtful words about feminism. Again, well stated.

toryx...thanks for stating your views on Gawyn to refute what H'arai said, much more succinctly than I even attempted. Gawyn drives me nuts...talk about Emo...but in a different way...a hot head way. How're you liking GofM? I"m on 400 now and loving it.

We own dirt in Park City now. (It;s for sale.) But I like Colorado better, although it's pretty high, altitude wise. Denver is just so much cooler than SLC. Who knows....won't have to decide for a year or more so I have time to ponder. Pg. 65 in GotM...still liking it and am totally lost.

Thanks for the NE input. I lived in NYC for 8 years and LOVE it. My chosen city. I was dragged kicking and screaming to Florida. Took me years to get over it. Not sure if I really have. I'd love to be back in some intellectual sophistication! My husband grew up in New Canaan, Ct. and is a big skier and loves the West for that. We used to have a place in Breckenridge there. Mountain summers are cooler and now my son is there....tough decision. Since Bob got to pick Florida, maybe I'll get to choose Ct.!

If you make it to Denver, we'll definitely have to have a cold one! How cool would it be if you and Tek arrived at the same time? Mini-jordon.con!
