Growing up, I read Entertainment Weekly and Tamora Pierce's books religiously, so it's no surprise that I'm a pop culture blogger with a soft spot for lady knights. My experience with sci-fi and fantasy has always been through fandom: Since logging online in 2000, I've been part of countless fandoms including Firefly, Bones, Tamora Pierce, and ReBoot. The first writing I ever did was a piece of Star Wars fanfiction; now I'm a playwright and co-creator of Leftovers, a webcomic about food trucks in the zombie apocalypse.
