Miss Vivian Micheal,
Oops. Silly me. I've been sending out plenty of shouts and neglected to check my own Shoutbox. Doh! So...I very much enjoyed our time together at JCon and I hope to be able to attend next year. After all, it's a tradition now, right? Yes to costumes! I was trying to put together a Jain Farstrider outfit for this year, but it was getting too expensive and I wasn't happy with the way it was turning out (the coat is critical). Thanks for the thumbs up on the photos! Peace.
hey there, seems you made it past the storms and got home OK. We were delayed in Atlanta and again in and out of Denver. Good thing I took Tuesday off.
When you sent me the e-mail that you connected to me, what does that mean? Insectoid sent me one also. Does that help me onto the FB group?
Shout me here since I'm clueless about these things.
Hi Deborah! I hear you are thinking of coming to JordonCon. Yeah! I'm really looking forward to it. Cost was an issue for me, but I got a great deal on Southwest Airlines. They are not listed on Hotwire, Expedia or those reseller sites. You can only get their deals by going to Southwest . com Check it out. Surely they fly from OKC.
Deborah, I asked Sam to add you to the fb group. I tried, but I don't think I have the right access to do it. When it pops up for you, introduce yourself and say you're hoping to go to JCon. You'll hear from those going in a big hurry! :)
Deborah - Much to my sorrow, I've never been to JordanCon, and I doubt I'm likely to. At least not any time soon, unless by some bizarre chance my husband had a business trip to Atlanta at the same time and let me tag along. :) (Chances are vanishingly small!) I would definitely encourage you to go, though; I'm pretty sure you'd have a blast. I know I would. You wouldn't be the oldest there, for sure, and those who go all get together and have a great time. As cons go, it's relatively small, and everyone is there for the same love of WoT. This year is guaranteed to be awesome; if I could ever go to just one, it would be this one. If you go, you'll meet Tektonica, Lannis, insectoid, J.Dauro, Ways, Man-o-Manetheran, scissorunner, AhoyMatey, possibly Freelancer, maybe misfortuona... and others I'm sure I've missed. And Leigh Butler, who actually spends some of her time with the rereaders. If you go, I'll envy you dreadfully :) but I really do encourage you to do it. You will be made very welcome! Also... are you on facebook? There's a fun group of us that hang out together there; I'll "invite" you if you're interested!
