I'm a Canadian student in English lit. I've been a spec. fiction lover since I first discovered Brian Jacques' Redwall series in the fourth grade. I adore fantasy and magical realism - I also seriously dig sci-fi, when it's heavy on the fiction and light on the science (I'm an English major, what can I say). I hope that graduating from school this year will finally give me the chance to read my favourite genre again! (I'm taking an Arthurian legends class, and we do get to read some Gaiman, but it's just not the same.)
