Just a suggestion for an independent bookstore in the Ann Arbor, MI area as a possible stop on future book tours: Nicola's Books, at www.nicolasbooks.com. It's not as large as, for example, the flagship Borders in downtown Ann Arbor, but it is quite nice -- the only bookstore I've ever been in with a fireplace!
