And having read his "response" to you... Yup, that's typical. The guy actually has a few relevant thoughts periodically, but he spends far too much time complaining and then being defensive when others disagree. My suggestion, if you care... don't bother to debate with him except when he makes actual plot-related comments. It's not worth the effort. But that's up to you.

Hey, dude, thanks for the smackdown on pattack! He was here whingeing about things when TGS came out, and now he's back whingeing about ToM. As one of the "old-timers" that he considers too arrogant to bother with, I appreciate the fact that the well-spoken newer (here) folks feel the same way about his attitude! I promised myself that I would just ignore him, but I have to admit I'm glad you didn't.
