I started reading children's fantasy in elementary, graduated to the venerable grandmasters of SF (and the occasional Robert E. Howard), and then finally discovered the Lord of the Rings late in high school. From there, my love of fantasy was set. I'm co-webmaster of Westeros.org, one of the largest websites devoted to George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. My fianceé, Linda, and I are presently working on an early draft of _The World of Ice and Fire_, to be co-written with GRRM and published by Bantam Spectra.
