Mankind Has Created a Dinosaur in Space. Game Over.

Space dinosaurs Karen Nyberg International Space Station

God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs. Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth.

And thus did Jurassic Park, the oracle of our time, predict this adorable dinosaur crafted by astronaut and International Space Station flight engineer Karen Nyberg. She made the plush T-rex for her young son using random materials scrounged from the station, specifically, “velcro-like fabric that lines the Russian food containers [that are] found here on the International Space Station. It is lightly stuffed with scraps from a used t-shirt.”

Read more about Nyberg and her outer space crafting hobbies over on CollectSpace. And keep watching the skies for they now have fearsome teeth.

"Man destroys God."

When did that happen? Did anybody let God know?

So cute!
Best gift from space for that little boy, besides his mom comming back of course.

@ 1: think of it more a catchy phrase.
Because while some of the population does not believe in God anymore, the rest still do.

I've been saying for a while that the only possible follow up to Sharknado and Ghost Shark is Ghost Sharknado in Space.

@2 Good one. I hadn't thought of the recent Doctor Who episode until you quoted it!
My wife was impressed when she learned that a fellow crafter had made it into space. In the old days when NASA used Life Magazine to plug their program, you probably would have found patterns for this little critter in the pages of the magazine.

@6 Just keep watching pinterest. I give it at most two days before it's an easy search term.
