Hoverchair! Awesome Selection of X-Men: Days of Future Past Stills

Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Professor X and Magneto, X-Men: Days of Future Past

They are playing chess again! Be still our hearts! (Sorry, gotta go wipe these tears away where no one will notice... hang on...) Between the two of them, Entertainment Weekly and Empire Magazine have a sweet set of photos from X-Men: Days of Future Past, and we think you want to see them.

Well, we know you want to see Patrick Stewart in a hoverchair, at the very least.

First, here is Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask with a lovely porn-stache that we must all envy from afar.

Then we have the lovely Mystique looking hyper-blue this time around. (We’re kind of digging the bodysuit here, as much for Jennifer Lawrence’s comfort as for the fact that it looks so pretty.)

And what you’ve all been waiting for—HOVERCHAIR! Look at these fabulous gentlemen. We are floored by their glory.

I want to be excited for this movie. I want to LOVE this movie. Unfortunately I know I'm just going to end up aggravated by the end result. DoFP is a classic story. Possibly my favorite X-Men story ever. I hate that they're using that title for this mish-mosh of cast and "continuity" from the previous X-films (2 of which I loved, guess which).

I guess my (drenched in nerd-rage) point is, if someone was going to make a Romeo and Juliet movie, only it also has Macbeth, Iago, Hamlet and Beatrice in it, and the ending is way different, people would freak out. I know I'm being a nitpicky comic geek here, but I just feel like if you're going to call your movie DoFP, tell that story. If not, don't call it that.
