Morning Roundup: We Think She Wants You to Live with Her Forever

Okay. We’re fine now. We can look. We can talk about this image.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! does she see? On second thought, nevermind—we’re certain the answer is terrifying. This amazing cosplay of Coraline’s Other Mother comes from deviantartist MissTrisi. There are more images here. You go ahead and look. We’ll, ah... we’ll just be here when you get back.

OK, Morning Roundup. We can do this. Deep breath. We have Rutger Hauer talking about Roy Batty, Akira’s uncanny prognostication, and the real Lisa Frank!

Blade Runner spoilers: Of course Batty isn't the villain. Deckard is the villain. That's the point of the story -- Deckard gradually coming to realize that he's been fighting on the wrong side, and the audience learning that along with him. The problem is that the stupid narration on the theatrical cut obscures this, dumbing down that complex story into a more conventional hero-villain narrative. I didn't understand it myself until I saw a version without the narration.

Your link to the Heimdall article isn't working. It seems to have an extra "1/Text" at the end that sends me to a "not found" page, though with a link on the side to the actual article.
