"Sweepstakes open to legal residents of 50 United States and D.C."

"Void outside the United States and Canada and where prohibited by law."

Canada: yay or nay?

Edited to add: Thanks for the clarification, BMcGovern! It helps if I win, not so much if I don't. :)

I've adored Ancient Egypt from when I was really little. I'm currently working through a book on all the royal families, and picking out the right set of four photos to buy from the Griffin Institute's collection of Harry Burton's Tutankhamun/Howard Carter excavation photos. How can you not love the culture, art and history??

I'm writing an urban fantasy story that has Tawaret as one of the main characters - she was an Egytian goddess that was normally depicted as a pregnant hippopotamus.

@6 and @73: I've just asked for a clarification and the rules should be updated shortly, but for the record, it seems that this sweepstakes is available in the U.S. and Canada, barring Quebec (there must be a rights issue of some sort). Hope that helps, and good luck to everyone :)

IN Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand."— The City's gone,—
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

I enjoy any reads on ancient Egypt. I once checked out a guide book from the University of Minnesota but the book was so old it began to fall apart so I put it in a plastic bag and sent it back. I offered to buy it but never heard a word from them. It was over 100 years old.
Appreciate the giveaway.
