Would Christian Bale Play Batman Again if Christopher Nolan Took Over Justice League?

The often correct Latino Review is reporting that Warner Brothers is looking to salvage its messy Justice League movie plans by placing Christopher Nolan in charge of the whole thing.

Although Christopher Nolan has notably said that he reached the end of the stories he wanted to tell about Batman in The Dark Knight Rises, he's continued to stick around the DC Comics universe as a co-producer on the upcoming Man of Steel film.

Christian Bale has stated in the past that he would return for a Nolan-helmed Batman project if there was a real story to tell. Nolan has not commented on the rumor, but the Latino Review article says talks are in progress, and that Batman movie writer David Goyer would also be a part of the deal.

I'm pretty sure nobody wants Bale back. Bruce Wayne's story is complete. It was all wrapped up beautifully.

I'm expecting Gordon-Levitt to take over.

I was sort of hoping it would be a new franchise entirely. I am well tired of the Nolan Bat.

The Nolan Bat doesn't fit into the greater world of the Justice League. At no time during the three Nolan Batman movies did I feel like Superman could just swoop down out of the sky to have a chat with Batman and then they head off to face Darkseid together.
I enjoyed the Nolan's trilogy...but in the end felt that he did not understand Batman. The ending of Dark Knight Rises.....that was not something Batman would have done.

I like where they left it with TDKR. But I'm optimistic about anything Nolan does, based on his track record. I don't care if he's making Batman movies as much as I care about him making whatever movies he can do well. If a Justice League movie would mess up the legacy of the Dark Knight trilogy and/or waste Nolan's time, then I hope he does something else. If he thinks it would work, then I'll trust his judgment.

A Justice League Batman should be Bruce Wayne (as opposed to a non-canon John Blake) and thus a reboot of Nolan's Batman. Bale doesn't fit.

I feel where they left off TDKR there is still an opening for another Nolan Batman movie. What happens with Robin? As for the Justice League this generation is so used to the Nolan batman that it would be a great idea to use Bale. Kind of similar to the reuse of Robert D. Jr. in the avengers. It just wouldnt be the same if they didnt use Bale.
