Why is Sansa wearing a cross?

Other than that they look great.

Are those Unsullied behind Dany? I hope not... too much armor!

No, that's the right amount of armor. They are wearing clothes, which they didn't in the book.

That's not a standard crucifix; it's a tau cross with no ascending bar. So it's likely just an ornament, not a religious symbol. (Unless I'm misremembering something from the novel.)

If you look closely You'll see Sansa is wearing a Dragonfly.

Who's the guy sitting near the fireplace with the DRAGON Carved into the wall? And what's the context?

@6: The carved dragons make the background look like Dragonstone to me, so maybe Stannis?

I might be wrong but picture 14 (woman in red dress) and picture 19 (the guy in the chair in front of the dragons on the wall) seem to be from the same scene or at least taken on the same set; is this not therefore Melisandre and Stannis on Dragonstone...?

There were unsullied guards at illyrio's house in season 1 (or at least I assume thats what they were since they match the description in the book) who didn't look like the soldiers in that first photo of dany. I don't know who else they could be though

Not to spoil the fun, but the photos are identified in the alt-text. Hover your mouse over the pictures and you should be able to see it. (If you're using a touchscreen browser, tap on the picture to enlarge and then you can see the file name.)

The Blackfish! The Reeds! The Queen of Thorns! Yayyyy!

(Weirdly, all this time I've for some reason had the impression that Thoros of Myr was black. I don't know why.)

Meera looks very androgynous... And such a frown on Jojen's face. How are they tying in the Reeds and the Blackfish, I wonder?

RobHansen @7,

I'm wondering if the 'Reed' is a mistake. She has a rose beltbuckle on which would seem to show her as a Tyrell.

Though they could have made her a reed for some reason and kept the rose as a continuaty nood.

Stannis can be identified by the permanent frown on his face.

What is up with the eye-patch on Dondarrion? Did he have it in the books? Although I do remember that he is seriously knocked around in the books.

@15 - I don't recall if he had an eyepatch but he was stabbed in the eye by Gregor while offscreen. Don't really want to go into much detail because of spoilers but I'm pretty sure the Wiki will have you covered.

Hey, where is Meera's trident?

If Olenna is a Reed, how can she be Queen of Thorns? Are they going to make her Queen of Cattails or something?

@15 - wasn't sir beric missing an eye when arya met him? i thought the socket was empty and the cheekbone caved in. he doesn't look nearly as bad as described. i thought that was jorah mormont.

the olenna reed tag has to be a simple mistake.

What about some shots of the Red Wedding? Or Lady Stoneheart?

I've seen some shots of Robb and Talisa standing around looking scared/pissed which I think are supposed to be some shots from the RW.

But I'm sure for the most part they are trying to keep a lid on that.

Good pics! I am still waiting for season Two to be released, though since I don't have HBO.

I don't understand why they renamed Jeyne Westerling Talisa?!? & I don't like the casting for Mance Rayder or Meera Reed..other than that...all looks great!! i can't WAIT for the new season!! I'm SOOO ready for the WoW!!!

She's a completely different character, a noble born woman from Volantis who allegedly moved to Westeros because it had no slavery.

I think they brought her in to either confirm of deny any Lannister involvement in the breaking of the alliance with the Freys.
