The Moon Flags are Still Standing!

Direct from the LROC (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera) is the proof that the flags planted by various NASA missions to the Moon are still there, save for one. This comes from the blog by LROC principal investigator Mark Robinson this past Friday.

Sad that "save for one" is Apollo 11's, though!

p.s. Unrelated to the thread, but related to the act of commenting itself... ReCAPTCHA's challenges are badly deteriorating these days. I'm getting five and ten totally unreadable images in a row these days, and my eyes are good. Time for a new system!
