Morning Roundup: Steampunk Peter Parker is Spider-Gentleman

A while back we noticed Denis Medri’s awesome steampunk/rockabilly Batman and now he’s back with a svelt Victorian version of Spider-Man! Very slick. If you check out the rest of the work here, I think you’ll agree that Spidey’s rogue gallery really should exist only in the 19th century.

Your collection of daily offsite links include these highlights:

  1. A premier skeptic explains why the universe does exist. (Spoiler: science is key)
  2. More developments about that Firefly panel at SDCC
  3. Looking back at Bane.

Stubby the Rocket is the mascot of Tor.com. Stubby has a bunch of moons of Pluto in its cargo hold and drops one off every year now.

I was excited about the Skeptic Magazine link-- the problems of nihilism, perception & the impossibility of deduction being favorite chestnuts of mine-- but I found the article dissapointing. Lots of just stating popular theories & then smugly preaching to the choir. Yes, I know, you don't believe in God, alright, but I thought it would have something to say about making Bayes' Theorum equal 1. Ah well.
