Morning Roundup: Neil Gaiman is Screaming. Why is Neil Gaiman Screaming?

Welcome Wednesday! What color would you make your lightsaber if you had a choice and the only choices were candy-cane or rainbow? Would you still want a lightsaber? Think about it, but don’t think about it too hard because it’s a frivolous question. Meanwhile, we’ve got a nice assortment of offsite links rounded up for you.

Highlights include:

  1. New, spiffy pics from Judge Dredd and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
  2. Prepare for the extinction of Terra Nova.
  3. Neil Gaiman screams.

Every day Stubby the Rocket jets around the internet looking for links of interest. When Stubby finds these links, they get put in our handy Links of Interest section and sometimes on our Twitter and Facebook! Here are today’s:

Stubby the Rocket is the voice and mascot of Tor.com. Stubby doesn’t need a lightsaber because Stubby is neither elegant nor civilized.

The links for R. A. Salvatore and Terra Nova all lead to the Blade runner page.

You need to check the links on this page: the Terra Nova and Wes Anderson Batman both lead to the Harrison Ford story.

Jeezus, Stubby. Not that the Gaiman video was the stuff of viral renown (it was cute, no more), and I know tor.com doesn't give a fig about spoilers*, but what kind of cusshole finds it necessary to not merely spoil the punchline of the thing but do it four times in one post and a fifth in the "Of Interest" column? Every other link I've seen to it says simply "Check out this Neil Gaiman acceptance speech." You do know that humor depends on surprise to work at all, right? Are you sure?
