Full Trailer for Luc Besson’s Lock-Out

It’s been since the 5th Element that Luc Beeson has done actual science fiction, and now the famed director is back with Lock-Out, an action thriller that seems to have a little more of the Transporter thrown into the mix. But just how much of the plot does this trailer give away? It seems like a lot. Check it out below:

"He's the best there is, but he's a loose cannon." People still put this sentence in trailer/ in movies in 2012? Really?

It's Escape from New York/L.A. in space! Could be fun. It is April, which is usually filled with weird campy movies.

I thought he was gonna say Snake Pliskin!! And they teased me with Sn...

Anyways, they showed waaaaaaaaaaay too much in the Trailer as noted above. Might make for a nice rental, etc.

Looks like it's gonna be a fun movie! derivative, to be sure, but who cares when there are space planes with machine guns involved. I love me some space action.

One thing though: is it really a Luc Besson movie? He's one of three credited writers and the other two, Mather & Leger, are also the directors. He's got an "exacutive prodcer" credit which is usually given to someone not involved with the actual filmmaking. Seems like his name was tacked on for publicity or finance reasons. Nothing new here, "9" was marketed as a Tim Burton film in spite of the fact that it was written and directed by first-time director Shane Acker, but let's try to give the actual creators of this movie some respect as well.
