Holmes for the Holidays Closes the Case

We hope you enjoyed the brief holiday we spent with the world’s finest detective and the various characters and happenings inhabiting his world. Here at Tor.com, Holmes, Watson, Moriarty, Mrs. Hudson, Irene Adler, Inspector Lestrade and the all the others are never far from our hearts and minds. We’re frequently popping into 221B Baker Street, as is our sister site: Criminal Element.

2012 will see the return of the BBC’s Sherlock to the screens, so be sure to check back for more deductive, inductive, and fun discussion about the universe of Sherlock Holmes. For now, we’ll leave you with these words of wisdom from the man himself:

“When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth!”

We think the improbable probably must include a certain red stubby rocket! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

I did enjoy Data as Holmes in TNG and Moriarity's cognitive developement that was a precusor to that of the EMH Doctor.
