Down the Mysterly River Sweepstakes! (part the second)

Take your trip down the Mysterly River! This upcoming middle-grade book, penned by Bill Willingham (the author of the Fables graphic novels series) and illustrated by Mark Buckingham (who’s beautiful work you can see there on the right), will not be released until September 13th—but we have five copies in our hands (we’re juggling them as we speak). Comment on this post to win!

If it doesn’t work out this time, don’t feel blue—we have a whole box of Down the Mysterly River ARCs and we’re not going to stop until those books find happy homes. We’ll be sending them out into the world a few at a time, so keep your eyes peeled for future giveaways.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Sweepstakes open to legal residents of fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 or older. To enter, fill out entry on this post beginning at 3:10 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) July 7, 2011. Sweepstakes ends at 12:00 p.m. ET July 11, 2011. Void outside of the 50 US and DC and where prohibited by law. Please see full details and official rules here. Sponsor: Macmillan Publishers, 175 Fifth Ave., New York, NY 10010.

Woot! I knew Willingham when he was a staff artist at Fantasy Games Unlimited, thirty years ago. Didn't know until a few years ago that he'd gone super-pro. Rock on!

I've been a fan of his for about 25 years, but I still missed the tiny original print run of this book. Very excited that it's being offered again!

I'd love one. Willingham's been a fave since Elementals and I still mourn the loss of Coventry.

Some of the best literature comes from children and young adult books.
