Leonard B. Stern, Co-Creator of Mad Libs Passes Away

The New York Times is reporting the Leonard B. Stern, the co-creator of Mad Libs, has passed away at the age of 88.

In the days before handheld devices and internet everywhere (Stubby typed, fully cognizant that it works for a content-producing website) Mad Libs were often a go-to family car trip game or elementary school lunch hour bit of fun. Most, if not all, of the Tor.com staff can recall discovering Mad Libs, possibly to varying degrees of scatalogical humor. (We made our own tribute to Mad Libs during Cthulhu Month in 2009. You can check it out here.)

We raise your _____ [noun] to you, Mr. Stern! Thanks for the laughs.
