We all do it—spend our time combining all of our favorite fandoms in infinite geeky majesty. But having the ability to render that in art is truly something unique, especially when you have the talent of a man like James Hance. It seems he’s done it again, and this time the Muppets are getting a turn on the good ship Serenity. Look! Vera is a rubber chicken! Sam Eagle is a shepherd! Kermit looks great in brown!

This is the latest artistic endeavor for Hance, who is famed throughout nerd-dom for his Wookiee the Chew paintings. (If you haven’t seen them, go here; your inner child will thank you.) He will be selling prints of them on his site soon, but a special limited run will soon be available for Can’t Stop the Serenity, an organization that raises money for Equality Now, the women’s rights charity.
In addition, money earned from certain paintings and prints from Hance’s site go to helping his 6-year-old daughter, who has a rare intestinal disorder. So far he has raised 75% of the money he needs to get her better, so buy some prints, commission some incredible art, or donate today.
