Fantasy Bestsellers FTW!

The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss The Crippled God by Steven Erikson

It’s a great week for the fantasy genre! We raise a tankard of mead in toast to Patrick Rothfuss and Steven Erikson for their appearance on the March 20th New York Times Bestseller’s List! The Crippled God has debuted at #12 and The Wise Man’s Fear took the very top spot at #1!

Congratulations to them both! We can definitely call this a win for fantasy fans everywhere.

Awesome. That sets the bar pretty high for Brandon...but not too high.

Does anyone know what that roughly means in numbers?

@lambson,

I had hoped Way of Kings would top the charts, but apparently not everyone wants to get started on a new epic fantasy. I am kind of surprised that it took until the last book in Malazan Book of the Fallen for Erikson to get up on the charts as well.
