I loved Sonnet 138 when I first saw it some years ago, and it hasn't lost any of it's power or beauty. McKean was surely touched by a host of angels at birth. Damn him... :D

Purves is very much inspired by all forms of stage art.

His Rigoletto is amazing, and Screen Play -- inspired by no and buraku -- is a masterpiece of puppet animation: not only is most of it a single shot, the character telling the story also speak in sign language (which I've been told is understandable)
