The CG Society just announced their latest challenge and it’s a fun one. They are asking for steampunk re-imaginings of classic myths and legends—single image and video catagories. (Steampunk Hansel and Gretel, anyone? I’d love to see that gingerbread house.)

The best part, CG Society makes these into spectator sports. Forums are already set up (still and video) for artists to post sketches and critique each other’s work as the months go along.
