Idiots’Books is a Maryland-based small press that publishes satirical illustrated commentaries on the human condition. Featuring the work of writer Matthew Swanson and illustrator Robbi Behr, Idiots’Books range across subjects from the Christian god to seventh grade, French imperialism to self-loathing, and funnel cakes to traffic theory. Usually funny, often irreverent, the books challenge conventional understanding of the relationship between image and word.
