Paolo Rivera was born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003, where he studied under David Mazzucchelli.  Paolo broke into comics thanks to writer Jim Krueger, whom he met at a comic convention while still in high school, and has been painting for Marvel Comics since 2002. Paolo lives and works in Brooklyn and is currently working on Mythos, a series of one-shots featuring the origins of Marvel's major characters: the X-Men, the Hulk, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four.
