Joshua Middleton began his career as a penciller for CrossGen’s Meridian in 2000, and has worked for Com.X, Dark Horse Comics, Udon Comics and Marvel Comics, where he was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist in 2004. One of the few comic book artists known for doing his own pencilling, inking and coloring, Middleton currently works for DC Comics, where he has created covers and interiors for the Superman/Shazam: First Thunder miniseries and cover art for Vertigo’s American Virgin series, among other projects.
