Ellen Weinstein is a graduate of Pratt Institute. She is a regular contributor to Time Magazine, The New York Times, Newsweek, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and many other periodicals. She has created book covers for Simon & Schuster, Viking Penguin, Warner Books and theater posters for Yale Repertory, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Lincoln Center. She has received awards from The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Communication Arts, The Art Directors Club, and Print's Regional Annual. She has been included in several illustration anthologies including Curvy, New York Based Creatives ( from Taiwan), “Drawing Inspiration: Visual Artists at Work” by Michael Fleishman and Illustration Scene from Japan.
Ellen also exhibits in galleries and exhibitions, including a show featuring the work of 40 women illustrators, which traveled through Italy, sponsored by Cultural Association Teatrio.
She lives in NYC with her husband and mini long-haired dachshund.
