David Michael Bowers was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania in 1956, and he graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1979.  Following graduation, David taught at the same school for ten years.  David then began an award-winning illustration career that lasted nearly 14 years before he started his fine art career. David now concentrates solely on his personal work for galleries and private collectors.  David’s work has recently been exhibited in galleries in California and London.
