Creating the Art for Marissa Meyer’s “Glitches”

Irene Gallo, art director for Tor Books and creative director for Tor.com, called me for a project during Thanksgiving week and, truth be told, I wasn’t going anywhere for a while; so why not work on an illustration for a wicked story?

That story is “Glitches” written by Marissa Meyer. It is a prequel to her book upcoming debut novel, Cinder.

[Read up on the process behind creating the art for Cinder. Thumbnails, sketches, and more below the cut]
