About Me
Started reading Tor in '94 with the WOT. Firm believer in RAFO, although I hate waiting to RAFO. I can still recall the first time I stumbled across the WOT FAQ. It was amazing. But when I found the 'Who killed Asmodean' section, I was stunned. My brother and my father read WOT and NONE of us have ever been concerned with who killed him. On the other hand, it was very clear that a lot of folks cared very much. This, combined with my love of goofball humor, offered a new form of recreation. If there's anything else, feel free to ask.

Hey jamesedjones! Yup, you found me on facebook. Thanks for the invite. I must admit, I hardly ever go on Facebook (average once a month) so I would most likely be quicker to respond to anything on Tor.com or via the communication here. But if its just a link to kind of "see the person behind the login" for those consistent posters on the re-read, I'd be down to join. Happy Holidays!

Brother I would love to join your FB group. As soon as I get an account. But know that I will be in your area in March of next year. I got a brother that lives in the area and Sulin lays her head near by Dallas too. So I will let you know when I am there

ROFL!! Unfortunately, I have some serious housecleaning to do today and dare not post as much as I'd like. *sigh*

Oh, well said, sir!!! "Nothing less honest about his approach. It's just more diplomatic, and, as such, more appreciated." Well said, well said!! I'm staying out of it on the thread because I don't want to escalate the personal conflict any more, but she HAS gotten downright insulting. Gah.

I think that's why I didn't like Cadsuane the first (many) times through. She's all that authority-and-assumed-authority-and-I-know-way-more-than-you rolled up into one person, and when I was a kid I LOATHED being told what to do, even if I was on the verge of doing it. (Still do - especially when its my mother-in-law.) So even though Cadsuane was usually right, it still kicked in that
Wetlandernw Wetlandernw said (4 years ago):
*sigh* I suppose that's why people get so irritated when I defend Cadsuane. It's still such a new phenomenon for me to see her in a very positive light, I forget that some people just enjoy hating her and don't want me to force-feed them an alternative view... ;P

Hmm. Something happened to most of what I just wrote. Who keeps waving that stupid balefire rod around, anyway? I was just saying that I don't like the psychosis construct theory, partly because I don't like having psychosis be a major aspect of my fantasy heroes and partly because I don't like having people try to force me into accepting an unprovable position. Especially since we've been clearly told that RJ intentionally did not give us enough to prove it either way. Why keep trying to prove it when you KNOW you can't?
Wetlandernw Wetlandernw said (4 years ago):
Well, I can sure understand that. Sometimes I manage to be amused, but mostly, like you, I get irritated when someone tries to

Hmmm. Can't remember about the next two chapters, but, it's interspersed through this book and the next two... Or may not so much in PoD, but all over WH. Hopefully by then people will calm down about it!
