Do you need something to read? Do you need two hundred and thirty somethings to read? Up and Coming, a collection of stories by 2016’s Campbell-Eligible Authors, has you covered! The anthology, edited by S.L. Huang and Kurt Hunt, is available for free download and highlights some fabulous new authors. From Up and Coming’s site:

This anthology includes 120 authors—who contributed 230 works totaling approximately 1.1 MILLION words of fiction. These pieces all originally appeared in 2014, 2015, or 2016 from writers who are new professionals to the SFF field, and they represent a breathtaking range of work from the next generation of speculative storytelling.

All of these authors are eligible for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 2016. We hope you’ll use this anthology as a guide in nominating for that award as well as a way of exploring many vibrant new voices in the genre.

The Table of Contents for this anthology is, as you can imagine, EPIC, collecting 230 stories from publications, including Uncanny Books, Lightspeed, Strange Horizons, Clarkesworld, Asimov’s and BoingBoing (plus a few from Tor.com!) and featuring authors from Charlotte Ashley to Anna Zumbro, with Malka Older, Effie Seiberg, Tahmeed Shafiq, Jo Lindsay Walton, and Alyssa Wong in between. You can check out the whole TOC over at SFSignal!

The anthology will only be available for download through March 31st, so get your copy soon!
