Today marks the hurricane-force debut of Emily Foster with the publication of The Drowning Eyes, which is available in ebook, trade paperback, and audiobook wherever books are sold. In her first novella for Tor.com Publishing, Foster has crafted a lush and vibrant world, and we’ve decided that her creation is too vivid to be confined to the imagination.

Tor.com Publishing tries to make all its books simultaneously available in audio, and this time we’ve partnered with Macmillan Audio for a double first. Not only is The Drowning Eyes our first novella to be illustrated with a map, it’s also an opportunity to show you our newest in map technology: an audio map! Audiobook narrator Robin Miles will guide you around the map of the Jihiri Islands as she reads excerpts from the book.
