You may have heard that The Winds of Winter, George R.R. Martin’s long-awaited sixth entry in his Song of Ice and Fire series won’t come out before the next season of Game of Thrones. So while we’re all waiting, Winter is Coming has suggested that we spend our time reading…The Winds of Winter.

From the cover synopsis:

She’d had so much–now she had nothing.

Anne didn’t dwell on it, but the pain was still with her–the double-edged pain of grief and rejection.

It had greatly altered her; Anne barely resembled the girl who four years earlier had left her husband, David Metcalfe. He probably wouldn’t even recognize her–especially with another name.

Anne made up her mind. She just had to go to his house to discover if what she suspected was true….

Anne and David are totally Jon Snow’s real parents, you guys. Quick, someone check the Song of Ice and Fire wiki for an “Anne Targaryen,” we have a theory…

After you’ve finished The Winds of Winter, presumably you should continue with Storms of Spring and Tides of Summer. Probably also The Tycoon’s Virgin Bride, just to be safe.
