Remember a few weeks ago when the Project Apollo Archive uploaded thousands of photos onto the internet, so we all had access to a mindblowing document of the Apollo images, for free, because we live in the future now? Well, because some things about the future are truly great, filmmaker Harrisonicus went ahead and used some of those images to create a stop-motion short that somehow manages to be both fun and deeply moving. Check it out below!

For us, the most moving part of this film is the Earthrise and Earthset, and is it just us, or are the images of the moon getting gradually smaller and smaller as the capsule heads back home kind of sad?
